Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the Ultimate Tumblr Throwdown is now live.
In no particular order, the competing teams are:

There will be a 48 hour recruitment period, during which you must rally as many as your followers/worshippers/disciples into enlisting in your glorious army, after which the defensive walls shall fall, and the battlefield shall be laid bare…
Each turn requires a maximum of 2 minutes to play - shocking, then, that entire empires shall meet their end in these scant seconds!
Once every turn, your troops shall be “blessed” with a number of troops that they can commit to defending or attacking territories held by enemy tumblogs. The winning tumblog is that which manages to combine high diplomacy, skullduggery and sound strategy into conquering every single territories, all the while rallying even more troops to your standard. More information can be found in the “How to Play” tab at the top of the page, but the quicket way to learn, of course, is to jump in headfirst.

and we could always use a “real world” map, but can anyone suggest what a map of Tumblr would look like?

… the opportunity to finally settle the question “Which is the greatest tumblr of them all?” in the theater of war.
In a turn-based strategy game hosted by GoCrossCampus, tumblites will have the ability to band together to defend the honour of their favourite tumblrs across a map of the internet, and finally realize the dream of meeting enemy tumblrs in gladiatorial combat!!
Not bad for a minimal time commitment of 2 minutes a day.
